Zombies!

I’m not a Zombie fan, but the debut novel, Boko: (Kevin vs. The Creeping Zombie Dead!) by Steven Davidson had me engrossed. Steven (who was in my Audio-Visual Technology class at Stevenson college) has written a contemporary thriller with a fair amount of wry humour, which actually had me sniggering aloud occasionally on the bus to work over the last few days. There’s a lot of twists too. An expert on Zombie movies, Steve keeps the surprises coming, and the plot fair rollicks along. It’s also partially set in Edinburgh too!

Definitely worth the couple of quid. Steve, if you read this, Snake and Toots deserve their own short story anthology! Oh, and I’m looking forward to the sequel, “Bride of Boko”. Zombies in Edinburgh perhaps?
