I’ve just finished 27,000 words on Demons for the Secret Fire RPG, the first supplement: Fragment 1: The Way of Tree, Sword and Flame. For me, this is the longest thing I’ve ever written on a single subject and I’m kind of chuffed to get it done with several days to spare until the deadline.I’ve never had to write a thesis or similar, or write an essay longer than 1500 words. I still remember several night slaving over storyboards at college though! I think I could get quite used to doing this sort of thing. It’s also my first freelance RPG job!

As a result I readied the celebratory doughnut and consumed it forthwith.

(Oh yeah, and NaNoWriMo is definitely on the cards for me this year)
